I’ve been so wrong

I’m the worst sinner

I’m worth nothing good

I’ve gone too far to be accepted

I feel so ashamed of what I’ve become

This burden keeps weighing me down

This pretense game is killing me

I’m not sure I can ever get out of this.

Does any of these sound like the obvious?

Now, here’s the real reality👌

Regardless of who you are
Regardless of what you’ve done
Whatever you’re going through
No matter how far you’ve gone,
There’s a provision for you in Jesus.
In fact, he’s more interested in you.

All you need is to feast with The King!
He invites us to His table, children I am able
He invites the thirsty soul, let me make you whole
He calls to the hungry one, will you come and dine?

He gave manna in the wilderness,
There was water for them too
He fed five thousand and much more
And for his disciples, a ready made meal

Even today, he gives the living water and supplies every need
There’s more than enough at the King’s table- both here now and here after

He stands at the door and knocks
Please open to Him and watch Him turn your life into a beautiful edifice

Don’t let your seat be empty at the King’s table

Make today Count!

Imagine waking up to the whole pile of chores that needs attention today.😞 The dishes to be cleaned up, laundry to be done, cleaning up the living room, fixing the study room, meals to be prepared, your little ones to be bathed, and catered for, groceries to purchase, a book to be completed, a friend to check up on…..and the list goes on and on.

I bet you mommas ain’t gonna sit back wailing and mourning, neither are you gonna fold your arms staring at the whole lot to be done. I trust you’re just gonna get to work, taking one chore at a time👌. As we pick each chore at a time, the whole house gets straightened out, 👐 and the outlook gets better 💐💐 and brighter. 🎆🎆

So, why then do we think everything in our lives should be straightened out today?💁
Or why do we often feel things should just straighten out on their own🤔

If we really want to make the most of our lives, we should work on cleaning up one corner at a time, day by day, not to give up, and we will be amazed at the outcome.–a brighter outlook🎆🎆

Is there an attitude towards someone that needs to be changed?
Is there a kind deed you know you should do?
Is there someone out there you need to forgive?
Is there an hurt you need to let go?

Start today!
Ask God for help🙏

Proverbs 28:6
Better is the poor that walketh in His uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways though he be rich.

Someone might read this now and the first thing that comes to mind would be… I reject poverty in Jesus name, I shall not be poor,, etc😉 but wait o, as much as I’m not against such confessions, in fact, me sef, I reject poverty in Jesus name. 🙏 I wouldn’t want us to ignore the message of the passage this time around.👌

Our Society today has become so perverse that we only tend to applaud the ones who seem to be looking good, dressing well, using the best cars, living in fancy buildings, etc (of course they’ve got good results in life we say). Who cares about uprightness, good morals- abeg who that one help…as long as there’s cash flowing in, as long as my needs are met.👐
A young lady keeps collecting money from that man, and he’s not your father, neither is he your husband….infact, you have no intentions getting married to him- yet you call it smartness, 🤔I call it greed—my dear, your ways are perverse👌

As a young guy, you’re not scared of manipulating figures to get what you want… you’re smart shey? Nadar, its deceit– my dear your ways are perverse o😞

Maybe, you tell lies to get a favour you so much desire or think you deserve– you’re perverse in your ways nìyen o

Ah! Abi its that you find it easier to associate only with “the rich” regardless of what the source is, my dear, na the same category you dey o.
I could go on and on with the analysis

The devil offers a thousand and one ways to riches and pseudo satisfaction as long as he gets the soul of man in exchange for that transaction – – trade by barter burúkú

What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul….or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul. It seems to be our most valuable asset… Yet we often act so unconcerned 😞

If our hope is limited to this world, we are of all men most miserable and to be pitied.

It may look like they are “making it” faster, but as long as it’s not in the legit way, you’re far better.🤔 Remember, the blessings of God maketh rich and addeth no sorrow.👍

May we be strengthened to walk in uprightness, may our hearts be filled with the joy of the Lord always and may our lives continually bring glory to God🙏🙏

Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven😉😁

Drop the pride! Stop the fear!!

Sometimes what holds us back isn’t fear but pride. Well, let me say its fear born from pride- though we may not know.
Probably God gave you a vision, you then begin to imagine how its gonna become reality-its not like that imagination is leading you to trust God or ask Him for direction/instruction–nadar. This imagination I’m talking about is the one that makes you start belittling the ideas God is giving you. You start giving yourself a thousand and one reasons that will make this idea unacceptable to people around you. Like your reputation is at stake, like you’re too big for this/that. What will people say?

Hmmmn! The bottom line is that people’s acceptance and approval have now become the basis for following your vision. No! It shouldn’t be!!
Is it a business idea? A career pursuit? Whatever it is…an unusual one probably not familiar to you or people around you

God has a purpose for giving you that vision
Seek Him for instruction and direction
Get direction and step out in faith
Don’t despise the days of little beginning
Trust, trust and trust the Visioneer
He’s got your back!
He’ll come through for you.

Drop that pride!
Don’t be scared to start small!!
The world awaits your manifestation!!!

It will only get better when you launch into the deep — in faith
(Nothing of self-sufficiency but total dependence on God!!)

A Prayer to always remember

Help me Lord to always remember when I’m doing well that its You who works in us both to will and to do of your good pleasure
Help me to always remember that without You I can do nothing
Help me always to remember that I am a sheep in your pasture- my nourishment comes when I follow my Shepherd
Help me to always remember that You alone should take the glory
Help me always to remember that Your will supersedes mine in all ramifications
Help me Lord to always remember that You brought me thus far
Help me Lord to always remember that once I ascribe d glory to myself, I lose my worth in your presence -you lose your trust in me.
Help me to always remember that you are my source and strength and satisfaction.
Help me to always remember that You are the vine and I’m just the branch which can bear no fruit unless it abides in You!
Help me always to remember that Lord your love for me surpasses my love for myself!
Not my will, but thine will be done!!

Voice of Youngsters!

Hmmmn! We really don’t need to fit a preconceived mold. I just hope our Dads and Moms and Big Uncles and Aunts will understand this.

We are special, we are distinct, we are unique, we are dynamic and we would like to be treated as such.

Obviously you have to set the pace for us, but really, you don’t have to enforce your wish on us neither do you have to manipulate us to fit into your plans…

We know you really really want the best for us… We know you want to see us bloom to be what you didn’t have the opportunity to be.

We know you don’t want us repeating the same mistakes that you made…but then it won’t work that way.

You’ve got to remember that we are distinct.

Its okay to guide us a right (should be done in love). Please accept our personality – that’s when we can be the best we are meant to be. We don’t need to and intact we are not meant to fit into a preconceived mold.

I’m meant to be me,

No one else can be the me i am

I can’t be anyone else or it will mean I’m fake….

I’m sure you would rather appreciate the “reàl me” left to bloom than the “fake me” if you succeed imposing your wish on me.
